Before you jump into action mode there are three thing you need to ask yourself.
1. What’s your desired outcome? You can create moment but if you want to crush goals then you must know take actions with a particular result or outcome in your mind. How else will you know you’ve achieved it?
2. What does accomplishing this dream mean? What is your why? When you have a why, you can move mountains.
3. What will prevent me from succeeding? No one goes into battle unless they know what they are up against.
The reason many people create goals and fail to accomplish them is past failure, the risk of failing, and then the risk of success. 1. Actions allow you to shift
When a car is in neutral its stuck neither moving forwards or backwards. It’s easier to direct a moving car when its in drive or reverse. Your life isn’t much different yet many if us sit idol instead of moving towards our goals. When you hit the gas is when change starts to occur. When your active it promotes what you don’t see to become visible through intention motions.
2.Action Hits The Ignition Button
When you hit roadblocks and detours in life instead of developing road rage keep going. When you constantly fight against obstacles, your emotions are in overdrive. Anger and negativity will quickly stifle the opportunities before you. By continuing to navigate through the roadblocks and detours you establish habits that makes it easier to keep driving down the broken road until the roads become safer and smoother.
3. Allow yourself to wreck
As a life coach in Boulder Colorado, I often hear clients say “…But what if I fail?” people want success, but true success doesn’t come without failure. The people we read about who overnight became success failed a dozen times before being successful. We don’t hear all the story because failure is viewed in a negative way. The only failure is not trying, so when you try, you cannot fail or as Edison says” I have not failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that did not work” The greatest basketball player of all times Michael Jordan failed to even be chosen for his high school basketball team.

There is no one who is afraid to lose that has ever won. Let’s look back at Michael, he missed over 9,000 shots in his career and lost 300 games. 26 times the Bulls trusted him to take the game winning shot and he missed over and over again. This is what lead to his success, and 6 championship rings. When you fail it keeps you refining your gifts and talents. In the fire is where winners are made.
# 5: Action creates the “NOW”
There is no need to put off tomorrow what can be done today. Many of the clients I work with as a life coach in Boulder have an issue accomplishing goals because of procrastination. Procrastination is the act of postponing decisions or actions. Its generally because of anxiety or the fear of failure. However, by implementing techniques it allows us to deal with the underlining issues so they can take the actions towards creating those dreams. The first thing to understand is waiting for the right time to do something is fruitily, “Let’s wait until we have enough money to get married.” or start a family.
